
The start of the last week of the infernal February Fitness Challenge; by now of course every fibre of my body is hurting and the only thing keeping me going is the fact that I only have 6 days left, although trying to cover 24k in less than a week is a little daunting.
Today’s been a bit of a disaster, the effort of trying to raise my body out of bed was so great I was a bit later than anticipated for my swim this morning, and this evening I missed the warm up because of a prior commitment overrunning.
It was a quick 50 free and then straight into the main set, what is the fascination with 150’s? I seem to have swum zillions of them in the last 3 weeks.
There was a definite element of garbage yardage today, as I dived in to start my warm up this morning there was little thought in what I was going to swim and I was focussed on simply keeping on swimming.

- 50 warm up (Late!)

- 3 x 150 @ 2:40
- 3 x 100 @ 1:45
- 3 x 50 @ 1:00
- 1 mins rest
- 2 x 150 @ 2:50
- 3 x 100 @ 1:50
- 4 x 50 @ 60
- 500 pull swim down
- 3300 metres
