February Fitness Finished

Monthly Total 102,125 metres

I know that you’ve all (that is the 4 people including my mum who actually read this waffle) have been on tenterhooks to learn whether Binge completed her challenge and swam every day in February, as I had some stuff to prep for work this week so I haven’t been able to update the blog.

Well the short answer is Yes…and Woohoo! because  Tuesday evening’s workout brought my monthly total to 102,125 metres swum over 36 separate sessions and yes I managed to swim every day in the month. Now thinking about this in true Binge style I must be due at least three months off.

But rather ominously Shazza and Claire said “see you Thursday then” as we left the pool, hmm I’ll need to think about that one; but you know what, I’m rapidly coming to the conclusion that I am addicted to completing the Red and Green Rings on the Health App on my Apple Watch so watch this space.

As if that wasn’t enough I found myself at the pool on Wednesday evening  and had to endure a serious amount of joshing from the guys to the effect “did I realise it was March and I could stop now!”

  • 3 x 200 @ 3:30 steady
  • 6 x 100 @ 2:00 harder
  • 50 easy
  • 3 x 150 @ 2:30 steady
  • 6 x 75 @ 1:30 harder
  • 50 easy
  • 3 x 100 @ 1:45 steady
  • 6 x 50 @ 60 harder
  • 50 swim down
  • 3125 total
