
So an average Monday for Binge Swimmer has evolved to be that bit in between a pair of exquisitely painful bookends of exercise. Commencing at 7:15 am with a PT session; (essentially 45 minutes of weird and whacky ways to inflict pain upon yourself) and finishing off at 9pm after a Consett Public Masters Session. Since I restarted swimming again this year I’ve been bobbing along in lane 3, but I was goaded into moving into lane 2 and was secretly quite chuffed to hang on to the two guys I was chasing.
EMSC 1.0 served up an interesting session and despite screaming muscles my swimming was fairly smooth and I held onto the repeat times pretty well.
